The Competitive Program is one step up from the Recreation Program and consists of a longer season with more opportunities for competition via tournament play. The season typically starts at the beginning of June with training and tournament preparation, participation in various local and travel tournaments, regular playing league in the Fall (September through November) and post league tournament play.
Costs will vary from team to team but typically will range between $400-500 for the season. Fundraising opportunities exist to help lower costs. Speak to the coach about these opportunities to help out. The club will announce the registration fee for the 2016 season shortly.
*** Due to recent proposed changes in USSF and Cal North age matrix and team sizes, information about the 2016 season will be posted as soon as confirmed by our parent leagues (PYSL and District 6). ***
Coach applications still are being accepted and approved coaches will be announced by 1/1/2016.
The club is seeking a Director of Competitive Play for the 2016 season and any interested candidates may contact the president at firstname.lastname@example.org. The candidate will have the support of the current Director during the transition and mentorship /guidance during the year.
